Works fine on kodi Slow on mate and raspbian

Hi friends.. i have rpi3 and have two sdcards one for osmc and the other for ubuntu mate and raspbian.
The performance of kodi on osmc is awesome.. no lags plays hd videos perfect..
But when i install the other mate and raspbian.. the performance is so slow that it cannot even plays a standard video while in either of these two os.. Even YT in mozilla is super slow..it freezes

I tried on diff sdcards but same results..

Why is there so much difference on this..

Is there any fix for the Slow performance..

set 'gpu_mem_1024=128 or 256' to /boot/config.txt.

This is my first rasbperry, so not sure what to expect but its very slow here too

I installed rasbian and updated it to testing, then insalled kodi 17

Its completely unusable
