Raspberry Pi Zero Wifi, etc...

Sat Feb 04, 2017 3:02 am

Hi,

I'm a complete noob, I bought a kit from Adafruit to build a handheld console with retropie, the problem is the usb Hub that I bought doesn't seems to work...

I have a raspberry pi 3 is it possible to configure the sd card through the raspberry pi 3 and then switch it to the zero ??

You can build most things on the Pi 3 then move the card to a Zero. I do it all the time. If you are plugging something into the Zero, the driver may be different to the drivers installed for the Pi 3. Plug the device into the Pi 3 to make sure you have a working driver.

Compiling applications is different because the processors are slightly different.

Yes. I do that all the time

If you start with 2017-01-11 Raspbian or NOOBS 2.1, configure it on a RPi3 it will work on a Zero.
