Hey Everyone,
I need some help I just recently added the adafriut lcd plate and after installing the necessary files after I'm done with that, I try to open my idle 2 program and this error pops up and says invalid desktop entry file: /usr/share/raspi-ui-overrides/applications/idle.desktop can someone tell me why this is happening. Thanks for you input.

You can get that error if the program it is supposed to run fails to execute. Can you open an terminal and run idle from there? Hopefully if there are problems you should at least get an error message that hints as to what it wrong.

Thanks it actually works in the terminal but just the shortcut or th tab in the start menu doesn't work, how do I fix that so I don't have to keep going through the terminal.
