Paradox R910

Thu Jan 19, 2017 11:43 pm

I'm trying to read proximity card with a PI 3 with a RS485 Shield.

My current status is the device is connected, the RS485 seems to work fine, the R910 reader is started and scan card and I receive some data.

My main problem is simple, I don't know what to do with the data... i've tried to decode it in various of different encoding but with no luck.

Is there any direction or anyone that already have done it ?

I am working on the same project. Can you give an example of the data you say you're getting back?

I just got the same idea today. I am about to start experimenting with it probably next week.
I found something with HID readers. I haven't really looked at it yet, but it is going to be my starting point. Check it out, it might help you.
