Backlight off after logout

I'm using Raspberry Pi 3 and Official Touchscreen Display. I recently updated raspbian. After update, logout from the GUI, the backlight will turn off. I don't know why I have such a problem.

For what it's worth, I'm noticing the same issue with RPI 3, Jessie, latest update. Once logged out, the touchscreen is blank, and can't log in again.
