WebGL problem on RPi 3

Setting up a RPi 3 to control my CNC using Chilipeppr, I am getting the following error:
"this device/browser does not support WebGL or WebGL has crashed. Chilipeppr needs WebGL to render the 3D View"

Is this a limitation of the version of Chromium that installs with Rasbian on the RP3, or maybe another issue that causes WebGL to crash?

Any ideas were I go from here?

WebGL doesn't work out of the box. You need to enable the experimental OpenGL driver, go to chrome://flags and disable the HW blacklist and enable HW acceleration in chrome://settings. It will still be slow, though.
