Pi controlled Christmas Lights

Fri Dec 23, 2016 9:52 am

Brightened up our office with some Raspberry Pi controlled Christmas Tree lights.

Used a string of 50 RGB WS2811 Pixel LEDs controlled from GPIO pin 18.

I used the following chip TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SN74HC125N to boost the 3.3V output (on pin 18) to 5V to drive the LEDs.
