The easiest way is to use your backup to reimage the card.

Whoops! Das ist nur ein wenig Pech.

Grab a brand new factory fresh SDCard and a USB SDCard reader. Build a Raspbian system on the new card and boot your Raspberry using that. Mount the SDCard with the knackered filesystem in the reader, mount the reader in the RPi. The GUI automounter will mount it for you somewhere under /media.

Use the new Raspbian system to rescue the damage or copy files / photos / data you need from the broken card.

When you're done and everything is back to normality you can use the PiClone program to make a bootable backup copy. You can also refresh that backup once a month to keep it current.
