Connect Raspberry Pi 3 Model B to old tv

I need to connect my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B to my old sony tv through the composite video (yellow). I looked at my RPi and it doesn't have an RCA composite video out. The closest out put I can see is the Audio Output Jack. Is this where I plugin my composite video(yellow)? Is there anything else I need?

Dear Ceci123,
The Raspberry Pi Model B+ and up, including the Raspberry Pi 3 , all have the RCA jack unified with the 3.5 mm audio jack, you'll need a hybrid cable which has all three of the RCA output jacks, (yellow, white and red).

After connecting it to a TV (CRT), you'll notice that it isn't enough, so you'll need to tweak it by editing the config.txt. There are three things you need to modify.

1. #sdtv_mode=0
Search for that line in /boot/config.txt. Remove the hash symbol (uncomment it) and change the 0 after the = symbol to what your CRT TV's mode is from this list.

sdtv_mode=0 Normal NTSC
sdtv_mode=1 Japanese version of NTSC – no pedestal
sdtv_mode=2 Normal PAL
sdtv_mode=3 Brazilian version of PAL – 525/60 rather than 625/50, different subcarrier

2. hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1
Add the line in the brackets here (hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1) to the bottom of /boot/config.txt

3.hdmi_force_hotplug=1
Search for that line in /boot/config.txt . What you've got to do is to add a hash symbol in front of it, or comment it like this: #hdmi_force_hotplug=1.

And you are done!

Be aware that, while the Raspberry Pi can be connected to a TV needed a composite video signal using a 4-conductor cable with a 3.5mm (TRRS-standard) plug on one end and 3 RCA plugs on the other end (generally red, yellow, and white), there are several incompatible standards for which conductors on the 3.5mm plug go to which RCA plugs. Of the 4 conductors, if the ground wire is in the right place, the cable will work, though some (e.g. "camcorder-style" cables, if I understand correctly) might require plugging the cables into the "wrong" color jacks - most commonly red and white are the right and left audio channels and yellow is video; you may find cables where the video ends up on the red plug instead (or cables that just plain don't work, if ground is in the wrong place).

Long way of saying, if you buy the requisite composite video cable for the Raspberry Pi from one of the Raspberry Pi-centric sites, like those mentioned above, you should be fine, but if you buy a cable that "looks" like the right cable, from Amazon or similar, be careful that you end up with one wired right for your use.
