pure data autostart on boot

Hi, I found this tutorial to run a script automatically. I'd like to run a pd patch. Right now the script is running ok but I can't hear any audio and, even if I specified to write log in a file I don't see the file. Any suggestion? thanks

Update: I managed to have it running through a bash script. However for some reason it drains much more cpu. I opened a new topic about this issue here
