how do I compile LXQT on minibian

So I have been looking at making a minimal raspbian install featuring lxqt, but there are absolutely no guides or help on how to install lxqt on raspbian as the default window manager. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

Debian do not offer a Stable Release of the LxQT Desktop Environment.

Though there is a LxQT metapackage for Debian 9 Stretch TESTING:

https://packages.debian.org/stretch/lxqt


Therefore I would assume you start with Raspbian Jessie Lite and change the sources.list so jessie now reads stretch and undertake an update & upgrade, reboot then install lxqt. https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian
