Getting back into the programming and interfacing computers with electronics.
Looking at using a PI to monitor A/F, coil voltage, Timing and RPM to make tuning my daily cafe racer and a few other bikes we have on the go.
With this, I am wondering what kind of performance I could expect with the PI's interface. I do understand it is a fair bit of data to database.
The ELM427 knock off was good for an updated ever 4ms on my boosted grocery getter. Not as critical on these bikes however.
The point behind this project is my current daily rider is a bit tough to tune, especially when dealing with ~40yrs old parts, especially with aftermarket and custom work. Right now I'm still fighting to get the low speed to main jet transition right of the A/F side.
