Question on microSD compatibility

Tue Oct 11, 2016 11:18 pm

This list:

http://www.raspberry-pi.co.uk/2012/06/0 ... -sd-cards/

It says this is compatible.... Kingston 16GB microSDHC Class 10 (SDC10/16GB)

So, on Amazon, we have 2 cards:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Techn ... C+Class+10

SDC10/16GB

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Class ... C+Class+10

SDC10/16GBSP

What is the difference between the 2 microSD cards...? Will they both be compatible..?

Thanks

They are the same except the more expensive one ships with an adapter that allows you to insert it in a camera, the original Pi B and other devices that use full sized sdcards.

So do you think I can use just about any microSD card on a RPi 2 Model B..?

Anything up until 64 GB..?

128GB or even 256GB, but buy a genuine quality SD Card is important, see:

Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...
