Encrypt USB drive with raspbian

Hi all,

Im using RP3 as a demo backup NAS server. I setup sychnronization between my server and RP3. Im looking for some way to encrypt usb drive. I want to use it connected to RP3 permanenlty buy from time to time i want to take it to office and encrypt there on linux machine. Any idea how i can using encrypted USB disk ?

You will need encryption that works across all versions of Linux to cover your office Linux. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/disk_encryption is one technical description of encryption options for Linux.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compariso ... n_software is a wider comparison in case you occasionally go over to the dark side and use the disk in a Windows or OSX based machine.
