system running hot

Mon Sep 26, 2016 1:32 pm

i'm pretty new to the PI, all i've done is setup a nodered server on it, and just out of the blue it's been running stupid hot. It's almost like there is a stuck process, but the little cpu graph show 2 - 12% cpu ussage. Any suggestions, or readme's to trouble shoot the issue?

vcgencmd measure_temp show 90 + degrees

It is a well known issue of Pi. You can search youtube for cooling attempts.

I'm starting to wonder if it's not something wrong w/ the board itself because it stays hot to the touch even after i power it down.
