Pi Zero USB port - max current?

Can anyone possibly tell me what the maximum rated output current is for the Pi Zero's USB port? I'm building a network music player for my dad based on the Pi Zero with a Pi-DACZero on top and a TP-Link TL-WN822N wifi adapter as the only USB device, attached with an OTG cable that came with it when I bought it was part of a MagPi subscription deal. The WN822N reports its max power consumption as 500mA and seems to be running fine so far with the limited testing I have done. It would be useful to know what the Zero's USB ports are meant to be capable of in case I run into trouble.

There is no current limiting circuit on the Pi Zero. The USB port is connected directly to the Power USB connection. If your PSU is good enough you could take as much current as the tracks on the circuit board can handle. Probably over 1A (1000mA).

Depends on whether the pi reports its max current and your device adheres to it.
