Touchscreen Troubleshooting

Mon Sep 12, 2016 5:48 pm

Hi,

I recently acquired a raspberry pi touchscreen. However, I might have connected the wrong leads i.e the 5V GPIO rail went to the ground on the adapter board and the GND rail went onto the 5V on the adapter board.

Now the screen is no longer working. However, even at the first time connecting it, there was still nothing shown on the screen except for a few colors spectrum boxes.

COuld anyone please help me??

Which connector did you wire the power supply to? The one on the RPi or the one on the screen?

If it's the RPi then your screen is fried. If it's the screen then your RPi is fried.
