Raspberry pi zero and raspbian

I want to buy the pi zero but i want to know if micro sd with raspbian for rpi3 works for the zero.
Anybody knows?

Yes, the Zero was introduced before the 3.

I found only two problems with using Raspbian on a Zero.

You have to plug in either an Ethernet adapter or a Wifi adapter to get updates from the Internet. My USB Ethernet adapter and all my Wifi adapters needed drivers or updates installed from the Internet. I used a Pi 3 to configure and update the microSD card. There are adapters that work without installing new drivers, removing the need for a Pi 3.

The Zero uses a mini HDMI socket. Most shops sell only HDMI and micro HDMI cables.

I didn't have either of those problems. All of my Ethernet and WiFi adaptors worked from the start, and I bought a cheap mini-HDMI to HDMI adaptor online for about a pound.
