slow charge li-ion batt pack with simple resistor

Using any 3.6v li-ion battery pack ( two bare wires sticking out ) can I safely slow charge it with a regulated power source and a resistor?

Incorrect charging of a Li-ion cell can be dangerous. A simple resistor isn't really suitable for proper charging.

You can buy cheap charger modules that work from 5V and will supply the correct current and voltage to the cell until it reaches full capacity.

Something like this 5V Micro USB 1A Lithium Battery Cell Charging Lipo Charger Module Mini Board

from what I understand you can very slow charge with very low current a li-ion battery. So if I take a 2Ah li-ion battery and charge it with a proper voltage at lets say 10mA. What would be the dangers as you say?

I noticed that tiny charger board dosen't have a temperature sensor.
