Proud owner of an RPi2B.
Where I live has, over time, been adding more HD Radio channels available via terrestrial. As HD Radio remains relatively unpopular where I live, acquiring an HD Radio tuner has proven cost prohibitive.
Online, I see a few projects for an FM Radio tuner added to the GPIO Pins on an RPi.
I've recently snagged via eBay a Samsung HDRMUHHN00PTA HD Radio PCB. http://www.ebay.com/itm/272327283079 As I'm not very good at soldering, I've bought a pair.
The above mentioned PCB appears to have two sets of Pins. First, a set of 50 pins, another, a set of 10 (if I'm counting correctly). I doubt that all of the Pins are required to run this tuner through the RPi's GPIO.
I am unable to locate a Pin diagram for the above mentioned PCB. Any suggestions are welcome!
Thank you,
Burkert
PS - While its true that I can simply stream a lot of radio content, I'd prefer to use terrestrial for two reasons...
1) Our ISP has recently introduced a cap.
2) We boost a wonderful roof-mounted antenna (Digitenna Fringe). FM sounds amazing via the roof-top antenna, would love to hear HD radio via the same antenna!
