How to turn off the connected RPF screen

Tue Aug 09, 2016 6:14 pm

Hi all.

I just paired my Pi3B with the RPF 7" screen, and it seems to work great. However, I'd like to be able to user my Pi as just a SSH without the screen, so it would be great to simply turn off the screen. Is this at all possible from the Raspberry Pi software? I'm unable to do pull the power chord of the screen, as it's powered by the Pi's GPIO output.

Regards,
Kenneth

Looks like the built in dpms feature does this by default.
