Suggestions for a good robot building book

Mon Aug 08, 2016 1:00 pm

Hello everyone.

I am just wondering what you all could suggest for a next book. I am almost finished "Hello Raspberry Pi" python. What I am looking to do is to build a robot for Pi wars. Now I can not enter it this year but I would like to at least build it. Its really mostly built because I am using a Losi mini 8ight rc car as the chassis and drive-train. So what I am looking for is a book that can help me learn to code for PWM for the speed controller and steering as well as sensors for navigation.

Thank you.

I recommend Gordon's

Robot Builder's Bonanza, 4th Edition Paperback
Publisher: McGraw-Hill Education TAB; 4 edition (June 13 2011)
ISBN-10: 0071750363

It is not Pi specific, but discusses pretty much all aspects of robots
