Hi All,
I am working on a project where I need to power the RPi from a battery pack. Previously I have been powering from a 12V/7Ah VRLA battery with a 12V -> 3.3V step down feeding directly the chip.
The Li-Ion battery has 3.7V and looking at the PAM2306 specs, it says that it can take anything between 2.5V and 5.5V. I do not see anything apart from the HDMI needing 5V, therefore for a headless application, can I simply feed the 3.7V Li-ion to the USB Power-In (PAM2306)? (charging the Li-ion is taken care of a separate circuit / charging controller)
Thanks,
Pimmy
