Boot error:end Kernel panic

Thu Jun 30, 2016 10:17 am

Hello,everyone!

I run the command on my RPi 2 based on raspbian:
"apt-get install linux-image-rpi-rpfv linux-headers-rpi-rpfv" and "reboot"
However it can't boot anymore.
and the display shows the error: "end Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exit code=0x00000100"

Is there anybody know how to solve the problem?
Thank you!

Why are you trying to install a Kernel? Rasbpian will update the Kernel when it needs to do so. Jumping ahead and trying to force a Kernel, is going to cause problems. Doing what you did, will always cause a Panic. It is the OS telling you that it does not want to be forced to do something that is not compliant with the OS.
Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good.

Hi, if you really need that package for compilation, you may need to change the package names to include the model of your pi,

linux-image-rpi2-rpfv

However, you may get a bit more help and a nudge in the right direction if you explain what it is you wish to accomplish, there may be easier ways to solve the problem.

Thanks!
