Pi Licences?

Got my Pi 3 running Kodi.

Do i need to buy licences? as i am little confused?

Not for anything you can play with Kodi that works without it. If you have stuff in the codecs that are covered by the licence they won't play till you re-encode them or buy a licence.

You'll need a license for videos encoded with MPEG-2 or VC-1.

MPEG-2 would typically be videos ripped directly from a DVD (and not re-encoded). It was also used in some early Blu-ray releases. VC-1 is a high definition video format developed by Microsoft for its failed HD-DVD and WMV9, but it has been adopted as one of the formats used in Blu-ray as well.
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?
