Start-up sound

Sun Jun 26, 2016 7:00 pm

Is there a way to play a short start-up sound in Raspbian, like in Windows? Maybe via rc.local? My attempts at making a Python script to play a sound via pygame didn't work, so I'm asking here for advice.
Thanks.

I know I use too many parentheses. Problem?

Use aplay and a .WAV file. Either cron or rc.local will work.
