So long as the game you want to play has an ARM-based Linux client AND the system specifications are less than or equal to the PI, then, yes, you can.

However, it is rather unlikely that the game you want to play fits within those parameters. What game or games did you have in mind?

hello world :-)

Online games as in
1. Online (Multiplayer) games that are a program on the Pi, or as in
2. games that you go to a website to play?
If it's 1, then the post above this one is correct. If it's 2, anything that uses Adobe Flash will not work, because Adobe Flash is not available for the Pi. I don't know about Unity. Most browsers available for Raspbian don't support WebGL, either. HTML5, HTML or Javascript games usually work, but are normally unbearably slow to play. The exception would be The Kingdom of Loathing (I think it's a RPG), but that's a turn-based game from the early 2000s, so probably not what you're looking for. Maybe Cookie Clicker works as well (I tried, but it loaded very long and just as I clicked close tab the title bar changed to 0 Cookies - Cookie Clicker, so I assume it loaded).
I do moral support. Here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/search.php?search_id=egosearch
I know I use too many parentheses. Problem?
