Thu Jun 23, 2016 11:27 am

Hello.

please, help to connect USB hub to Raspberry Pi model A. hub is active, with power supply. Other devices, connected to this hub, work successfull. But keyboard don't work.
If i connect kjeyboard directly to Raspberry, this work. Why?

Is the hub USB 2.0 or USB 3.0? I have heard of issues with USB 3.0 hubs. All Pis are USB 2.0 only..

I have a USB 3 hub and have no issues. Even with powering a Pi and connecting a drive with the USB cord from the Hub to the Pi in the regular USB port.
Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good.

I've had loads of problems with hubs and A+, what does. lsusb give on the command line for the hub?
None of mine like mice or keyboards wired with D-Link chipset, which have become common :-(
