Video Player/s with CEC support.

Thu Jun 23, 2016 6:11 am

All I require a dead simple media player for raspbian that has HDMI-CEC support.
Is there any player other than behemoths like kodi ?

I understand I can cec-client and manually write a script to perform specific actions, but obviously If a player has that kind of capability built in, it would be great!

kodi gives various issues on my setup , tried even osmc/openelec.

I have PI 3 with raspbian.

AFAIK only kodi supports CEC. And kodi runs really fine on Raspbian. It requires a few settings.
