Mini HDMI part number.

Tue Jun 21, 2016 7:10 am

I have noticed there is no schematic or BOM available for Pi Zero.
I have broken my micro HDMI socket.
Is there any chance I can get the official part number for the HDMI socket?

Original Rev1.2 Zero or newer Rev1.3 (camera)? They're subtly different (no pins poking through on latest).

I've torn down a broken Rev1.2 - I can send you that one, should it still be lurking at the bottom of my parts box.

Thank you but mine is the newer Rev1.3 (camera).

Might work if I grind those legs off, come back to me if you have no luck elsewhere.

FYI, it's a mini-HDMI. Micro is even smaller.
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?

It's always got me why they decided on mini and not the more common micro as used by most tablet and Camera devices and has a smaller height making it more compact.
Given the compact nature if the Zero.

I usually just rummage through eBay/Aliexpress looking for the bit that looks the same
