My parents have an extensive and lengthly CD collection, full of their favourites. However, we have one problem: our CD player has a faulty laser and won't play CDs correctly. My mum is thinking about ripping them onto her phone, but I doubt that the phone would have enough storage or volume for my parents to enjoy them. I am considering building a raspberry pi powered music player, but am overwhelmed by the available options. I'm not a total noob but more often than not my projects don't work out. What's the best way of going about this project?
