Information needed

Hello, I have recently bought a raspberry pi 3 for my product design course where I am building a computer into the computer table. (Link to the table will be at the bottom of the page) I would like the raspberry to control the fans inside the computer case and control the speed and duration of the fans. I am also wanting to connect the raspberry pi to a set of led lights, I am wanting the lights to indicate how hot the computer is e.g. blue for cold and red for hot. I also want the lights to show how efficient and how long the computer has been running. Please any information would be much appreciated as I am a complete novice when working with the raspberry pi.

Look in the website Education/Learn section and see how to control fans led relays (may be needed for fans if 5V is not enough) etc.
Then find how to read CPU temp and use that along with runtime to control the LEDs etc.
