5MP and 8MP lenses, interchangeable?

Are the 5MP and 8MP lenses, interchangeable?
I just scratched the new camera lense.

In theory yes, they are both M6 x 0.35mm.
In practice, I have wrecked one lens tying.
Need lens spanners to help remove them and a holder to stop the module moving.
You also need to remove the glue off the threads.

Probably better solution is a M12 lens holder and M12 lens.
It would be nice if someone sold M6 lens. Wide angle, macro, telephoto..

I actually tried. It doesn't seem to work.
The threading seems to be very slightly different.

I tried putting a V2 lens on the V1 Noir.
Could not screw it in far enough and wrecked it trying to get it off:(
0.35 and 0.3mm threads?

I tried putting a v1 lens on a v2. The lens cell threading seemed to me slightly different, but the point at which the lens froze in the threads happened to be very nearly the correct focus. These mobile-phone lenses are not very standardized, they are not intended to be interchangeable.

It would be nice if someone sold these kind of lenses separately, but I have not seen any such available to date.

Swapping them, I was only able to get a quarter turn before it tightened.
