Enabling Bluetooth in Raspbian Jessie?

Thu May 26, 2016 1:44 am

Hello. I'm having a very difficult time trying to get my raspberry pi to enable a Bluetooth connection with my new 1by1 Bluetooth keyboard. I have tried googling this to no avail. I've tried to use the Blueman gui but that doesn't seem to work. It says no adapter.

In bluetoothctl, I've typed power on, but I get no default controller available. Same thing pops up when I type pairable on. Same with scan on. I'm pretty lost as to what to do now, and would greatly appreciate some help. Enabling Bluetooth seems quite the hurtle in Linux!

Presuming you have a Raspberry Pi 3B and are using Raspbian Jessie Operating System, then update Raspbian as per the BLOG:

Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...
