ECM/BPM with Pi 3?

Tue May 24, 2016 7:05 pm

I'm looking for advice about the possibility to install/customize an Entreprise Content Management (documents) + Business Process Management (workflows) platform on Pis. The application is management of small-scale building projects.
I wish to use a multi-site, fault-resistant peer-to-peer network design, with one Pi per site and multiple sites per project. I wish to avoid a star topology, and all data shall remain on our machines.

The DNS/VPN architecture is working, provisioning of nodes is done manually for the moment. So now I am looking at a few (...) purported ECM platforms, hoping they would fit in this scheme (and embark in one swell foop a set of capabilities like SSO, user management, etc. I have set aside for now.)

Any recommendation for an ECM that could be distributed, provide good "real-time" user interaction (rather than heavy/comprehensive workflows), and could run on the Pi (with minimal hardware extras, like 1 HDD)?

Unfortunately none of my Pis have yet been supplied with a Unicorn.
