How long does it take to install Raspbian by NOOBS on SD

Sun May 15, 2016 7:54 pm

:P Hi,
I bought Rasp 3 past few days with NOOBS sd card (Complete CanaKit on Amazon) and try to install it. I chose to install Raspbian only in NOOBS interface then. But it took nearly 5 hours for just 700 Mb,to say uhmm , downloading and extracting with speed about 0,1->0.5 Mbs... My SD card is Kingston 16gb class 10. Could someone tell me why it took so long to install the OS?

That would never be possible. We don't know what your network is like, we don't know what you chose from the NOOBS menu. NOOBS doesn't log anything.

Just accept that your RPi is working and get on with learning to use it and program it.
