As the title says, the volume slider on the task bar no longer functions.
Any ideas?

Ok, scratch that. Volume slider doesn't affect the output of oxmplayer. Has that always been the case?

I've not tried it with OMXPlayer, but I'm not surprised it doesn't work - the volume slider controls the volume of audio via ALSA, but OMXPlayer bypasses ALSA completely and addresses the hardware directly.
