Please tell me if it's possible to use Quabel Online Text Editor https://quabel.com on the Raspbian browsers?

Hello raspb,

this is Benjamin, one of the people behind Quabel. A friend of mine mentioned your post, and I'd like to assist you in getting Quabel.com running on your Raspberry Pi.

Running Quabel largely depends on the type of webbrowser your computer is running. This means, that in order to use Quabel on the Raspberry Pi, you probably need to install a different browser such as Chromium (the open-source scent of Google Chrome).

I did some research and found a thread where installing Chromium is described [1]. You can install it by typing the following command in the console:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
Afterwards, you may start the graphical desktop by typing:

Code: Select all

startx
Now, Chromium is accessible by navigating to: Start->Internet->Chromium

This should allow you to use Quabel.com on your Raspberry Pi. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us, or just comment on this thread.

Cheers,
Benjamin
