information for the alimentation of raspberry pi 3

Hi everybody
I'll have to buy a raspberry pi 3 (is the first time i'm buying raspberry), then i want know a information, i have a power supply of 1.0A and 5v for my smartphone, can it fit good also to raspberry?

It depends on what you plug into it. Ideally, for a Pi3, you should use a 5V 2.5A power supply.

For Raspberry Pi 3 you should use a 5V 2.5 Amp power supply. you might can use 5V 2.1 Amp, but use caution if adding USB devices.
