Hi, I have issues with kernel crashing on Jessie last release from 2016 and new Pi3. I guess drivers/kernel are not ready yet?

It states it's Pi3 compatible and you may need to install something, see the docs on the product page.

Are you sure the crashes are related to the screen?
Can you post the error message?

The filename of their custom image would imply kernel 4.1.19, which Github dates to March 5th, so in theory should all be compatible with the Pi3. Raspbian Lite was 18th March, but I'd be surprised if there was anything that significant in the bump.
Kernel 4.1.21 was released from Pi Towers, and the main kernel repo has now bumped to 4.4.7 by default. Perhaps the supplier needs a nudge to get things updated, or better to push their changes upstream (unless there's some nasty hacks in there).
