Case for Pi with USB 3G modem.

Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:08 pm

Greetings

I have a pi, with a GPS hat on it connected to a USB 3G modem. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a case (doesnt have to be a pi case as i dont need access to the monitor, and other ports and only need one usb) where somehow my usb modemm can be on the inside? since I don't want it to get unplugged.

Refer to image.

Thanks

I like to use card-board cigar boxes, which can be purchased at many hobby stores these days; they are usually white (so they can be decorated, should you like), they have easy access, they are easy to work with, and they are very inexpensive.

Take a look at my WP34s Update Station - Photo Journal on the HP Musem web site. It is my latest 'cigar box' project and will give you a good idea of what I'm talking about. I am planning a PI 'cigar box' project coming up, but I can't show you since I haven't started yet. You'll have to scroll down through my photo-journal to see the box... I have photos from various angles.
