problem minecraft server

Hello guys, i have a problem with the minecraft server.When i try to connect the computer to my minecraft server(with a raspberry pi 3) there is a error message:" Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: The received string length is longer than maximum allowed (18 > 16)".I can't connect any computer to the server.What is the problem and how can i resolve? :?:

hi, I have no idea; but, I did a search on google for your error message and I am finding lots of hits (this is a very common error) and has something to do with names being longer than 16 (which can include colors and words over the names in the tab list).

A couple of hits recommend removing some plugins from the server and restarting.

Do some snooping around on google.
