i have a question about Win32DiskImager and that is will it give me a virus ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Why do you think it will - has Windows detected a virus? Most probably your anti-virus software needs updating/or new definitions.

My computer has said that it is an umknnown puplisher and o just wanted to be sure that it was safe

Make sure you download it from a legitimate website first.
