Except perhaps when on holiday in Hawaii eating sushi, spam isn't really all that healthy, compared to say a little healthy competition between competing SBC boards, which is. So I'm thinking this isn't spam.

Now regarding the naming conventions used for ARM cores and whatnots associated with them, which you'll wonder about after looking at that link, there is a blistering rebuke somewhere from Linus Torvalds, also not spam, but certainly not healthy for the hearing.

It looks like the Odroid-XU4 and the M3 Banana Pi are about twice the cost of the Odroid-C2, so is it better to have two C2 than one XU4 or M3? Is it better to have a mix? Is it better to have a number of the C2, Pi3 and the like and a PC for the heavy lifting?

So what about these other Pis.. Can the Banana Pi run certain programs the Raspberry can't and are any of these compatible with a drawing Tablet?

It's not fair to call them Pi because they are made by someone who has just decided to use the name of someone else, part of the name. They do tend to have a compatible pin out for their add on devices, so in a sense this is part of some larger ecosystem than just that which has been specifically created by the pi people themselves.

I think the main reason to buy something like these is if they give a better performance value for the price. They pretty much have to do this because they don't have the rest of the equation as fleshed out, such as OS support, numbers sold, users providing help.

So they are ripoffs or real alternatives....?

To the extent that they have features that your use case needs, they are alternatives. The the extent that they are trying to piggy-back on the Raspberry Pi, they are "ripoffs".

Depending on how good your web and Linux skills are, that's a fair assessment. These boards are in a transition state from an old model ("development boards" that are released to very knowledgeable practitioners of the art) to the new model (tools for beginners, hobbyists, and "makers" with good support).

Nothing is preventing you from going to their support websites and forums to see if they are going to be helpful after you get that board. You can't know what will happen in future as boards reach "end of life" and maybe no new OS versions are available. No one knows about that, but you can go to forums and see what people are saying today.

Odroid, it seems, has a decent amount of people there talking about various things. I don't know about the other ones, it would be good to look. You might even check in with the various alternative distributions and operating systems and see if they plan to support the board. For example, Tiny Core has a pi variant, will they have a version for whatever board you decide to buy? Does it matter? Maybe because it shows that the board is considered important enough for some group to port to.

what is the cost of a Odroid and can it run programs which require 4Gs of Ram better like Inkscape and is compatible with a drawing Tablet and is the RPi?

This is in Off Topic because it compares the Raspberry Pi to similar models of SBC's, nothing more nothing less.

It is not a discussion about the merits of the other boards

I know of no SBC that is 4gig so I'd have to say no. I think if you need that, get a PC and use the SBCs for things that you just leave on all the time. This lets you put the PC to sleep and still, say, serve up files to your tablet or whatever.
