Sd card becomes hot

hi I've recently purchased The new raspberry pi 3 with a Pre installed sd card But when
I insert and connects it to the power and HDMI nothing is shown
and only the red light is lighting and when I connect it to my pc it gives me a message stating its a corrupted sd card and it is becoming too hot

so I thought it was the sd card's problem so I took out my new sd card from my fone formatted it using sd card assn.'s software and loaded it with NOOBS thank fully it worked this time and I installed raspbian through it
I used it then I shut it down
But after sometime again the problem occurred only red light flashing sd card getting too hot and my new sd card got corrupted
don't know what to do
pls help

Exact same thing is happening to me. As soon as I power up, the SD card becomes too hot to touch. This is a brand new Pi 3 with a new element 14 SD card preformatted with Noobs.

You should contact your vendor and RMA your RPi3.
