ModMyPi Power Supply US Compatible?

Thu Aug 09, 2012 7:28 pm

Hello all, I just ordered my RPi for US delivery and am anxiously awaiting my board to start tweaking. In preparation I have been looking for a good PSU that meets all the power requirements to run my RPi. I'm having trouble finding a 2000mA PSU that works on a US wall outlet.

I found this on ModMyPi and was wondering whether any US Pi'ers had any luck using a voltage converter to hook that unit up to a US wall outlet?

Thanks!

I have two of these and they are rated 100-250v50/60Hz so would plug directly to US supply with a standard socket converter. ;)
