I got the Rpi for my birthday and it did take me a while to get the SD right but then it booted fine that day (two days ago). Then yesterday I rebooted and my keyboard and mouse were not powered and it meant i could not enter username and password into the rpi. I searched the forums and came to the conclusion that it must be a power issue because when i plugged my usb stick in it got powered on occasional boot ups but not all of them.
Due to this and what I had seen on the forums I ordered a D-link DUB-H4 usb hub as it is said to be compatible and fine to use with the rpi.
I got that today and the keyboard did not boot again, it was not powered and had no lights showing. I have tried two wired keyboard and one wireless, both wired keyboards are in the compatability list but both dont power up and cannot use either with the rpi. I tried what i think is every possible set up using the usb hub with the rpi (from powering the RPI with it to the total oposite).
Can someone who has had similar problems and/or has a similar set up. Advise me what i am doing wrong?
