is Camera module of Pi 1/2 compatible with new Pi 3?

I am new to Pi and plannjng to buy Pi 3 because I have a project that needs Camera module. I am not sure if Camera module of pi 2/1 works for the new pi 3.

Yes, same camera module works on pi1/pi2/pi3.

I actually first read the title as Pi =HALF= and thought to myself how could I have missed out on that!

Too many Pis.. lol
