MATLAB \ Simulink

Wed Mar 02, 2016 7:11 pm

Given that Wolfram has a programming discussion group, what is the correct way of requesting a SIMULINK \ MATLAB discussion group? I am looking forward to having a playground to interact with the other kids.

There's not enough matlab traffic on here to justify that. Also matlab isn't bundled as free software with Raspbian.

And MATLAB/Simulink certainly isn't cheap!

I use it every other day at work and we had to pay £20,000 for a license for a single toolbox.

Agreed. A professional license is pricey because Mathworks has a significant amount of labor overhead and its revenue model targets professional users. On the other hand they also address the 'home market' and 'student market' with appropriate pricing.

The student Simulink bundle ($100) includes low cost hardware prototyping. $200 for home users.
