Sensor help

Mon Feb 29, 2016 4:06 pm

Hello.

I have a project with a deadline which is running out of time. I have the Raspberry PI with all the hardware. The only thing is that I have no clue about programming and such.

I need at least one of these to work.

The first one is where I get a sound from a ex mp4 file when somebody gets close to my PIR sensor
And the second one is wherever somebody walks near the sensor a video will start.

It would be super great if I could get some help how to connect the jumper cables with the sensor and with the programming if there is any complete scripts that I could run. :)

To get started with a PIR sensor read this: https://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/santa-detector/

I am working on a similar project, so I'm wondering if you were able to get yours to work. Any feedback you can provide would be most welcome!

thanks
